About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at DHL eCommerce UK Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for driving our fleet of Volvo vehicles, ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a lorry from our fleet of Volvo vehicles, all less than 4 years old, to regional hubs on the night shift.
  • Ensure Cages, Pallets, Freight, Stillages, and Yorks are delivered to customers on time.
  • Inspect your vehicle and trailer daily, completing a Defect Report if necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, resolving any queries and escalating issues to your site manager as needed.

Requirements

  • Class 1 Driving licence
  • Driver CPC qualification card
  • Completed required DCPC training hours or working towards them
  • Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws and commitment to safe use of the roads
  • A 'can do' attitude
