**About the Role**

">

As an SEN Learning Support Specialist, you will deliver tuition sessions to help students gain confidence and achieve qualifications needed for further education. You will be part of a support network with a lead tutor, designated safeguarding leads, curriculum leads, behaviour specialists, and a Head of Education.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver tuition sessions to support students with special educational needs
  • Cater lesson plans to individual students' needs
  • Demonstrate a nurturing and supportive nature with good behaviour management skills
  • Rapport building with students
  • Good communication skills
  • Identify existing and potential barriers to learning and help students overcome them

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Confidence working with SEN/SEMH and challenging behaviour
  • Previous experience working with children who have special educational needs
  • A positive attitude and willingness to build rapport with students
