We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Norwich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions using SolidWorks CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems.
  • Produce detailed drawings and documentation to support manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Perform calculations to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to take projects from concept to completion.
  • Support product testing and validation, making design improvements as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of engineering principles.
  • Experience with ANSYS or other FEA software is highly desirable.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
  • Benefits package including opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Thursday: 07:45 to 16:30
  • Friday: 07:45 to 12:15
