About the Role:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper and Accounts Assistant to join our team in the Plymouth area.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out bookkeeping duties for a diverse range of clients using industry-leading software.
  2. Manage VAT returns and ensure timely submission.
  3. Support the annual accounts preparation process and guarantee compliance.
  4. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills when interacting with clients.
  5. Collaborate with the team to achieve outstanding results.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Significant bookkeeping experience in a professional environment.
  • Expertise in Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage online.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Familiarity with VAT, Corporation Tax, and Personal Tax processes.
Package:

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum. A competitive benefits package including company pension and flexitime.
