Job Title: Lecturer in Engineering

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer in Engineering to join our team at Slough & Langley College. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and assessment in the subject area of Engineering, focusing on engineering principles, microcontrollers, product design, and manufacture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and manage a teaching program, assessing student progress and preparing progress reports.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data and information, as well as work effectively within the team responsible for teaching and learning strategies.
  • Provide pastoral care, including assisting learners in choosing appropriate learning programs, designing individual action plans, and helping students identify and resolve obstacles to their progress.
  • Contribute to the effective functioning of the department through administrative tasks, such as maintaining files and records, implementing college policies, and contributing to the college's strategic objectives.
