Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mail Transportation Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our delivery network, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of mail and packages to customers across the region.

Salary and Benefits Package

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £12.54 per hour, paid monthly, with overtime paid at 1.25 times the normal rate. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 22.5 days' holiday per year, rising with length of service, full uniform provided, and a company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates.

Key Accountabilities

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Coordinating the transportation of mail and packages to meet customer expectations
  • Managing vehicle maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to walk long distances and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
