Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to join our team at Morgan Ryder. As a Site Electrical Lead, you will be responsible for the maintenance, service, repair, and upgrade of all electrical equipment necessary for manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Maintenance: Ensure the safety of staff and contractors, while maintaining the continuity of our operations.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Contractor Management: Select and manage contractors for electrical engineering work.
  • Engineering Documentation: Produce engineering documentation, including permits to work, risk assessments, purchase orders, training documentation, and engineering drawings/manuals.
  • Training and Development: Conduct LOTO training for the maintenance team, including refreshers and auditing.
  • Purchasing: Purchase electrical equipment, including HV, LV, VSD, and PLC.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis, breakdown investigation, and improvement initiatives.
  • Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support and training to electrical engineers.

Requirements:

  • Electrical Engineering Qualification: Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship, L3 qualification, or equivalent.
  • Industry Experience: Solid understanding of electrical equipment and power supply in a manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and instructions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office tools.
