Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Sustainability Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the construction of water projects, ensuring that they are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental sustainability, with experience in managing and monitoring construction work. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise and advice throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that construction management standards, procedures, and work instructions are followed.

Key responsibilities include task management, reporting information necessary to support the project and business objectives, and maintaining construction records to support commissioning and project handover activities.

Requirements
  • Experience in the water industry with a proven track record in successfully planning, managing and monitoring construction work.
  • Able to hold an industry standard, construction/build environment qualification (e.g.: NVQ Level 6, ONC, HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent)
  • Demonstrate exceptional awareness and understanding in construction environment, safety and health regulations and legislation.
  • Able to hold a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), or Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) Construction accreditation, or a suitable equivalent.
  • Able to hold an appropriate industry recognised safety scheme card, (i.e.: a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Manager's card, Client Contractor Safety Group (CCNSG) Safety Passport card or a suitable equivalent).
  • Able to coordinate temporary works and able to hold the role of temporary works coordinator.
