Key Responsibilities:

  1. Produce CNC programs for 4 & 5 axis machines and multi-axis turn-mills using Siemens NX & Vericut.
  2. Develop CNC grinding programs for a variety of grinding machines.
  3. Manage new part introduction (NPI) for prototype and production projects with short lead times.
  4. Create and define manufacturing routings and Bill of Materials (BOM) using SAP ERP.
  5. Design fixtures and tooling for NPI projects.
  6. Assist with departmental training and progression programs.
  7. Estimate production times and associated costs.
  8. Identify opportunities for cost reduction within manufacturing processes.
  9. Ensure health, safety, environmental, and energy considerations are met in all activities.
  10. Support company compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in machining and programming complex components, ideally within the automotive or aerospace industry.
  2. Proficient in Siemens NX CAD/CAM system and Vericut simulation software.
  3. Thorough understanding of machining, cutting, and inspection techniques.
