As an Asset Information Assurance Manager at National Grid, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and quality of asset information across the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of asset management tools and techniques, risk management, and transmission assets and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain asset information standards, policies, and procedures that align with the company's strategy, objectives, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and conduct regular audits and reviews of asset information quality, accuracy, and completeness across the company's systems and processes, and report on the findings and recommendations.
- Ensure all asset information delivered through capital interventions is accurate and fully defines the installed assets and systems, and flows both into the appropriate systems.
- Lead and support the delivery of asset information improvement projects, such as data cleansing, migration, integration, and enhancement, and ensure that they are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to internal and external stakeholders, such as asset managers, engineers, contractors, regulators, and customers, on asset information related issues, such as data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting.
- Manage and develop a team of asset information specialists and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can lead and manage a team of asset information specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of asset management tools and techniques, risk management, and transmission assets and systems. They will also have experience of leading large and diverse professional teams, influencing at senior levels internally and externally, and membership of relevant professional bodies.
What You'll GetAs an Asset Information Assurance Manager at National Grid, you will receive a competitive salary between £65,000 - £84,000 dependent on capability, a bonus based on personal and company performance, and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits, such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines, and matched charity giving.
