Regional Sales Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Development Specialist to join our team in the South East and London region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and growing new business opportunities within your region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of the sales process and large accounts processes. You will be confident in your ability to identify opportunities with existing and new accounts and strategically develop those opportunities within our commercial trading philosophy.

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of energy, commitment, and tenacity. If you are a driven and results-oriented individual who is passionate about sales, we encourage you to apply.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Territory sales role selling Elucian products via distributors in your region (Push/Pull role)
  2. Sales out activity by way of pro-active support to new and existing distributors via Joint sales calls, trade counter & networking events, product training and demonstrations
  3. Presenting and gaining agreement from customers to ensure they see our approach as added value
  4. Working proactively with your portfolio, planning visits and maintaining CRM records
Required Skills and Experience:
  • A proven sales professional operating at the minimum of high value account level
  • Focussed on being able to identify opportunities with both existing and new accounts and be able to strategically develop those opportunities within the set parameters of Scolmore's Commercial trading philosophy
  • High levels of energy, commitment and tenacity with a strong understanding of the sales process and large accounts processes and buying behaviours
  • Computer literate with the ability to use word/excel/PowerPoint
  • Ability to work on own, planning diary and working autonomously within your defined role
  • A full and preferably clean driving licence is required for this role
