We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. The successful candidate will support pupil learning through the delivery of specific learning programmes, setting high expectations while encouraging independence and building confidence.
Key Responsibilities- Learning Support: Assist pupils in their learning objectives, using strategies in liaison with the teacher to promote inclusion and encourage collaboration.
- Mentoring: Provide one-to-one mentorship, planning and leading booster and intervention sessions to tackle difficult topics.
- Observation and Feedback: Observe, record, and feedback information on pupil performance to inform teaching practices.
- Right to Work: Hold the right to work in the UK.
- Passion for Learning: Demonstrate a genuine passion for the potential of every pupil.
- Professional Development: Be a learner, continually seeking opportunities for professional growth.
- Enhanced DBS: Hold an enhanced DBS registration or be willing to obtain one.
- Tutoring or Classroom Experience: Possess experience working with children in a tutoring or classroom capacity.
- Child Management: Have experience managing children in a formal setting.
- GCSE Qualifications: Hold Maths and English GCSE qualifications or equivalent at grade C or above.
The estimated salary for this role is £20-25 per hour, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
