We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to our clients, supporting them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients with complex needs, including those with spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and acquired brain injuries.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Requirements

  • No prior care experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training and clinical support to help you develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a commitment to delivering person-centered support.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of our clients.
