Your primary focus will be on engineering release flows with a strong emphasis on efficiency and quality.

The role involves creating and modifying RTL designs, implementing constraints, and producing high-quality technical documentation. Familiarity with writing and reviewing documentation is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and collaborate with development teams to translate high-level requirements into project and design requirements.
  • Break down technical and delivery requirements into manageable packages of work that inform project planning.
  • Track project progress, identify and manage risks, and report status to stakeholders.
  • Develop FPGA implementations targeting internal and external platforms to demonstrate Arm's latest IP products.
  • Commission FPGA prototyping hardware, including specification of peripheral hardware.
  • Develop accurate project plans involving multiple teams and ensure deliveries align with agreed plans.
  • Apply design automation techniques to construct efficient design and delivery flows, leveraging scripting skills in Python and TCL.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise in debugging complex designs, embedded software, simulation, and hardware.
  • A structured approach to problem-solving, with a creative mindset.
  • Experience with the Synplify tool chain for single FPGA implementations.
  • Knowledge of DDR memory sub-systems implementation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as assembly language (Arm assembler) and higher-level languages (e.g., C++).
  • Experience with UNIX environments and shell programming/scripting in languages like Tcl, Perl, or Python.

This role requires strong communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English abilities. You will work closely with other engineering teams, including software, IP implementation, and verification, engaging in deep technical discussions and collaborating with top-class multifunctional engineering teams.
