About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Education Specialist to join our Faculty of Science at the University of Johannesburg. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate modules, developing curriculum, and participating in departmental committees.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in chemistry or equivalent, with expertise in catalysis, medicinal chemistry, materials chemistry, water treatment, and purification. Experience in teaching at a Higher Education Institution and a track record of research publication are essential requirements for this position.

The salary range for this position is approximately R800 000 - R1 100 000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to the base salary, the University offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical aid, retirement fund, and paid leave.
