Pharmacy Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our dispensary and clinical services, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the smooth running of the dispensary, providing coordinator support to the dispensary team and senior technicians.
- Support the training and induction of new members of the team, pharmacy apprentices, trainee technicians, and pharmacists.
- Contribute to labelling, dispensing, and checking duties, monitoring workload, and tracking stock levels.
- Provide excellent customer service skills, answering phone queries, and covering staff and out-patient reception.
- Support ward-based tasks, including patient medication assessment, medicines reconciliation, and one-stop ordering.
- Assist with stores responsibilities, including receipting deliveries, stock management, and supporting ward and fluid top-up services.

Person Specification
- Qualified Pharmacy Technician, registered with the GPhC, holding an NVQ Level 3 or other relevant qualification.
