Financial Manager

This role provides comprehensive financial management advice, support, and information to managers at all levels. The key elements of the post include providing support in the preparation of financial models and outline business cases for significant capital-funded projects.
Main Duties of the Job1. Developing financial plans and forecasts in conjunction with budget holders, clinicians, and managers that fit with the strategic direction of the NWSSP, conscious of other stakeholders' financial support to production of business cases for revenue and capital investment and/or service changes and use of financial option appraisal techniques and analyses to provide a sound evidence base for decision making, including robust evaluation of the cross-NWSSP implications of cost saving and avoidance.
2. Providing the financial evaluation for purchases of capital equipment, leases, and other service contracts.
