Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our team at Tungate Group in Cheadle, Staffordshire. As a key member of our dispatch team, you will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, moving raw materials from the warehouse to the shop floor, and picking from finished stock.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Moving raw materials from the warehouse to the shop floor
  • Picking from finished stock and other associated tasks
  • Operating a FLT (Forklift Truck) to move materials around the warehouse
Requirements:
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Warehouse experience
  • An FLT licence
  • Good communication and numeracy skills
  • Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including mornings and afternoons
  • Self-motivation, hard work, and energy
