Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Medical Statistics

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Medical Statistics to join our team at the University of Oxford, Department of Engineering Science. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical statistics and a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop medical statistical methods for improving our understanding of patient physiological conditions
  • Work with senior medical statisticians to develop tools for analyzing large electronic health record (EHR) and sensor datasets
  • Contribute to high-profile collaborations with senior colleagues in the Medical Sciences Division and the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Requirements:

  • PhD in mathematics, medical statistics, computational statistics, or a related field
  • Experience working in a highly interdisciplinary team
  • Good knowledge of medical statistics and a strong publication record
