We are seeking an experienced Wastewater Process Lead to join our team in Belfast. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering technical design solutions for complex wastewater treatment projects. Responsibilities

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative design solutions, leveraging your knowledge of integrated wastewater and bioresources treatment processes. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Development of technical design solutions for complex wastewater treatment projects;
  • Leadership of design delivery for multidisciplinary projects;
  • Management of time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes;
  • Collaboration with international teams to deliver integrated design solutions;
  • Quality assurance adherence in design.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
  • A chartered chemical or process engineering qualification (IChemE or CIWEM preferred);
  • Proven experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design;
  • Fundamental understanding and experience of integrated wastewater and bioresources treatment processes;
  • Design and/or operational experience of main process unit operations: primary/secondary/tertiary treatment, bioresource treatment and disposal, odour and energy management;
  • Experience of process safety techniques (HAZOP/DSEAR), capital and operational costs assessments, whole life carbon assessments as well as knowledge of UK environmental regulations;
  • Awareness of process modelling techniques and software, e.g. BioWin, SUMO.
