Job Description

As an Adaptive Learning Specialist with Term Time Teachers, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of local schools that cater to the diverse needs of children in the area.

This role is perfect for an ECT or an experienced teacher looking to begin their career as a Special Needs Teacher. It boasts flexibility, allowing you to 'try before you buy' with regards to a future career and future schools that you could work in.

What you'll do:

  • Implement tailored learning plans and adapted teaching materials
  • Implement behaviour plans and procedures
  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
  • Monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, teaching assistants, and parents

What you need to be:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility and creativity to adapting to student needs
  • Experience with special educational needs (desirable, not essential)

Key Information:

Location: Crowborough, East Sussex

Pay: £130-180 per day, equivalent to £650-900 per week full-time

Hours: 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday

Contract: Day-to-day supply work, short-term contract, long-term contract, temp to perm, and permanent roles available

Year: Key Stages 1-5 (Years 1-13, ages 5-19)

Qualifications: QTS essential
