Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our team on a 12-month secondment to cover maternity leave. This role provides a unique chance to develop your expertise in respiratory assessment, management, and treatment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide specialist respiratory assessment and care to patients in various settings, including residential care homes and nursing homes.
  2. Manage a caseload of patients referred from primary care, secondary care, and patients themselves, aiming to prevent hospital admissions when possible.
  3. Promote self-management and empower patients and their relatives/carers regarding their individual's long-term respiratory condition.
  4. Liaise with other healthcare professionals as appropriate to ensure optimal care and management of individuals within their treatment plan.
