Role Overview

The Principal Analyst role is a key position within the NHS, responsible for driving service transformation and strategic success through the provision of high-quality information support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Development of accurate, insightful reports that inform and improve service provision
  • Compilation and submission of statutory returns, including those related to key constitutional standards in an acute environment

The post holder will be accountable for ensuring the provision of information for the Trust Board, Clinical Divisions, and senior managers throughout the Trust, as outlined in the Service Level Agreements.

Requirements
  • Substantial experience in a Senior Information Services post
  • Managerial experience, proven ability to motivate team members, including providing leadership and delegation
  • Data Analysis experience
  • Production of information and data returns

The successful candidate will have advanced SQL and data visualisation abilities, as well as a strong understanding of NHS information issues, strategies, and developments.

Salary and Benefits

£48,270 to £54,931 per annum, including high-cost area allowance
