Job Description

Major Recruitment is seeking a skilled Assembly Team Supervisor to lead a team of 8 in South London, working for an ever-growing Audio Visual Company. The successful candidate will report directly to the Production Manager and be responsible for leading the team to complete designated jobs, resolving any issues that may arise, and assisting in the training of team members on specific job duties and skills development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the team and ensuring the successful completion of designated jobs.
  • Resolving any issues that may arise during job completion.
  • Training team members on specific job duties and skills development.
  • Reporting back to management on team progress.
  • Ensuring assembly activities are completed on time and in line with specifications.
  • Developing Lean manufacturing processes with the team.
  • Following assembly and design specifications for products.
  • Preparing paperwork for shipment.
  • Awareness and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Completing installations in accordance with Quality Procedures.
  • Tracking goods in and out.
  • Maintaining records of each installation.

Requirements:

  • Experience leading a team of assembly workers.
  • Experience in Manufacturing or Production.
  • Able to read technical instructions and specifications.
  • NVQ level 3 or above in a technical subject.
  • Clean driving license.
  • FLT License is desirable.
