About the Role

Cedarcare Ltd is seeking a skilled Damp Proofing Specialist to join our team. As a Rising Damp Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation works for rising damp or waterproofing treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protect working areas from damage and contamination.
  • Hack off defective render or plaster to expose the underlying brickwork.
  • Bag up debris and remove it from the site.
  • Inject new chemical damp proof courses to prevent further moisture ingress.
  • Perform timber treatments to prevent rot and decay.
  • Install pacifier vents to regulate moisture levels.
Requirements
  • Experience in rising damp and waterproofing techniques.
  • Knowledge of damp proofing methods and materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work in Central and Greater London.
