Clinical Psychologist Home Based Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical and Counselling Psychologist to join our team in providing specialist psychological services to children, young people, and families in North Central London.
The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to provide rapid, flexible, and accessible services to address urgent and acute problems facing children and young people.
About the RoleAs a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessment and short-term individual and group therapy to clients, including risk assessment and management.
You will also be expected to offer advice, consultation, and supervision on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and other non-professional carers.
The post holder will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment of young people and adolescents with mental health difficulties and learning difficulties.
- Work within a service with young people in crisis, providing rapid, flexible, and accessible services.
- Teach, train, and supervise assistant psychologists and non-psychologists.
- Contribute to service developments and the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care pathways.
- Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology.
- Registration with the HCPC as a clinical or counselling psychologist.
- Additional post-doctoral training in evidence-based therapies.
- Experience of working within a multicultural framework.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex information to clients, their families, carers, and professional colleagues.
The post holder will be based between St Ann's and Edgware Community Hospital, working with children, young people, and families who present with high risk to themselves and/or others.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is £51,883 to £58,544 per annum, inclusive of HCAS.
The post is permanent, and the working pattern is flexible to meet the needs of the service.
