About the Role:

Servomex is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our UK Operations Team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and building Servomex finished products and sub-assemblies in accordance with the production plan, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Servomex Health, Safety, and Environmental policies
  • Build Servomex products following standard SOPs and drawings
  • Inspect, test, and calibrate Servomex products as defined by SOPs, engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Interpret test data to ensure products meet specifications
  • Fault find and complete reject process, defining corrective action and rework as required
  • Produce, maintain, and update necessary records
  • Cross-train to build skills across multiple product lines
  • Consume and control material within company procedures and protocols
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities to improve quality, delivery, and cost

About You:

  • Proven experience in build and test operations in a complex manufacturing environment
  • Competence in relevant processes, equipment, or skills
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to assemble micro or complex electromechanical products
  • Strong eye-hand coordination, attention to detail, and housekeeping
  • Previous experience in assembly of instrumentation within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to understand and work to engineering instructions

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Servomex products
  • Knowledge or experience of light industrial electromechanical and pneumatic assembly techniques
  • Expertise in gas analysis an advantage

Location: Crowborough, East Sussex, UK

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Dependent on experience
