We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge WMS products based on Blue Yonder (JDA) Dispatcher. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with clients, addressing their specific needs and collaborating with Unipart's internal functions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and support of our WMS products, providing guidance and mentorship to project team members.
  • Effectively resolve project issues in a timely manner, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders by providing regular project updates and status reports.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including work instructions, configuration items, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure business solutions align with industry standards.
  • Serve as a bridge between the business and IT divisions, facilitating the development of functional specifications through Blue Yonder WMS Dispatcher solutions.
  • Assist the WMS Architect in making strategic design decisions and shaping the overall solution architecture.

About You:

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management. Your expertise should encompass warehousing operations and IT infrastructure, including experience in leading or supporting large-scale projects.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration and information sharing.
  • Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a deep understanding of warehousing processes.
  • Experience leading or supporting IT infrastructure projects, including warehousing setup and supplier management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver large-scale projects successfully.
  • Hands-on experience configuring the Blue Yonder (JDA Dispatcher) product across multiple versions.
  • Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle Database Performance Troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Shell Scripting, iReports, Linux Operating Systems, and Cloud Console Management platforms such as AWS or Azure.
