We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate to join our team as a Primary Intervention Teaching Assistant in a Whitton-based school. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who aspire to become fully qualified Primary School Teachers to gain valuable experience and develop their skills in a supportive and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver small group sessions for children in KS1 and Lower KS2, focusing on phonics and maths interventions.
- Develop and implement targeted interventions to support students' academic progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a 2:1 degree from one of the UK's Top 30 Universities.
- Experience of working with children (desired but not essential).
- Aspirations to become a fully qualified Primary School Teacher.
What We Offer:
- A long-term contract starting in September 2024 until the end of the academic year, with potential for further employment.
- A competitive daily rate of £85-95 (inclusive of Holiday Pay) on a PAYE basis.
- The opportunity to work in a supportive and progressive school environment, with a focus on teacher training and development.
