Job Title: Laundry and Sewing Industries Training Expert

We are seeking a dedicated trainer to lead our laundry and sewing industries training program at HMP Millsike. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to equip individuals with valuable skills for future employment and personal growth.

In this position, you will oversee a team of up to 35 learners, guiding them through practical, hands-on training while supporting their development through the Employability Passport programme. You will be responsible for leading learners through their training journey, identifying individual needs, and providing one-to-one coaching to enhance their skills and self-development.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in the textile industry, with supervisory experience within a production or similar environment. Experience in conducting risk assessments and maintaining high safety standards is also essential. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are required, as well as a commitment to supporting learner development.
