Job Title: Assistant Building Surveyor

Join Rand Associates Consultancy Services Ltd as an Assistant Building Surveyor and contribute to our team's success in delivering high-quality building surveying services to the social housing sector.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our Building Surveying Department in conducting stock condition surveys, energy performance certificates, and other surveying tasks. As an Assistant Building Surveyor, you will work closely with our experienced surveyors to deliver excellent results and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct stock condition surveys, including data collection and reporting
  • Support the completion of energy performance certificates
  • Assist with damp inspections and void property surveys
  • Communicate effectively with office-based staff and clients
  • Work with industry-specific software and Microsoft Office tools
  • Participate in staff development days and external training courses
Requirements
  • BSc degree in Building Surveying or a related built environment subject
  • Significant experience in the social housing sector as a surveyor or similar
  • Full UK driving license and use of own vehicle
  • Ability to travel and work in a customer-facing role
