Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team based in Thanet CYPMHS. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions to children, young people, and their families experiencing emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties.

The successful candidate will have extensive clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties. You will work therapeutically with parents/carers/families of children and young people with complex mental health problems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Routinely measure clinical outcomes and deliver evidence-based clinical interventions in line with the CY-IAPT programme.
  • Promote the mental and emotional health of children, young people, and families through clinical interventions.
  • Undertake initial school-based and community-based assessments and deliver early interventions to children and young people with emotional and psychological difficulties.
  • Assess and develop plans of care to meet the complex needs of patients.
  • Provide clinical leadership and specialist treatment and assessment within your area of expertise, responsible for the supervision of junior clinicians.

Salary Details: This role offers a competitive salary of £53,755 - £60,504 per annum, pro rata for part-time hours.
