About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 ODP Practitioner, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the Eye Day Unit team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering a busy elective programme and providing a trauma and On Call service for Ophthalmology patients
  • Leading and supporting the Eye Day Unit team to ensure safe and effective care is provided to patients
  • Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and liaison

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration
  • ODP with HCPC registration
  • Experience in Ophthalmology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
