We are seeking a highly skilled Empowered Advocacy Specialist to join our team in Dorset. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people, empowering them to express their wishes and feelings in decisions that affect their lives.
About the RoleThe Empowered Advocacy Specialist will be responsible for managing a pool of advocates, ensuring the provision of high-quality services to children and young people. You will also be responsible for allocating referrals to the most appropriate advocate and carrying a small caseload of advocacy referrals yourself.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with local authorities and other stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to drive performance improvement by monitoring referrals, activity, and budgets, and using data to prepare reports for monitoring meetings.

We work with care-experienced children, young people, and adults who often rely on statutory services. Our unique combination of social care and legal services enables us to provide the support they need and ensure their voices are heard.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a pool of advocates to deliver high-quality services to children and young people

- Salary: £45,000 per annum
