Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team to design and implement cutting-edge robotic systems for real-world trials on customer sites.
- Ensure the upkeep of our robots and work zones, maintaining a safe and well-maintained environment.
- Assemble and install new prototypes for rigorous testing, driving innovation and progress.
- Manage our workshop inventory, streamlining processes and preserving exceptional working standards.
- Log data accurately and track checklists to stay ahead of the curve.
- Communicate effectively with our dedicated teams to resolve any issues swiftly.
- Efficiently move trolleys within the greenhouse and its vicinity, ensuring seamless operations.
- Monitor multiple pieces of equipment, ensuring top-tier quality and minimal downtime.
- Develop dynamic partnerships with customers to maintain stellar hygiene standards and flawless product tracking.
- Conduct rigorous inspections while adhering to quality systems and standards.
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills, conveying thoughts clearly in writing and speech.
- Hands-on experience in workshops, manufacturing, or engineering environments, with a focus on hand-tool skills.
- Independence and responsibility, with the ability to seek help when needed.
- Basic computer operation skills, including proficiency with smartphones, email, and spreadsheets.
- Numerical and literacy skills, with the ability to crunch numbers and understand manuals.
- Organisational skills, with a focus on minimising clutter and maximising efficiency.
- Ability to work towards targets, production KPIs, and schedules.
- Problem-solving skills, turning challenges into opportunities.

This role will involve operating an automated food packing robot, preparing tomatoes for the robot, feeding the robot with packing materials, and palletising the packed tomatoes for handover to the customer. The job requires manual handling of wheeled equipment, involving some bending and pushing.
As a condition of employment, you will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. You must also demonstrate your existing right to work in the UK.
This is a full-time position, initially 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role will then move to a 4-day week (12 hours) with a shift allowance for weekend and bank holiday working.
The salary for this role is £25k-£40k per annum, depending on experience.
