Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Architect Assistant to join our team in Epsom, Surrey. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary design, engineering, and environmental teams, you will be responsible for assisting senior landscape architects with project management, design development, and technical drawing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Assistance: Provide support to senior landscape architects on project management, design development, and technical drawing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with landscape architects, ecologists, and arboriculturists to ensure cohesive project outcomes.
  • Site Visits: Participate in site visits to gather information, assess conditions, and monitor project progress.
  • Report Writing: Support the production of technical reports and specifications.
  • Design Workshops: Engage in design workshops to develop creative solutions and detailed designs.
  • Graphic Production: Create visual representations of landscape designs, including plans, sections, details, and 3D models.
  • Environmental Improvements: Prepare project briefs for landscape and environmental improvements to public open spaces.
Requirements
  • A Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture.
  • Ability to write reports and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent team working skills within multi-disciplinary projects.
  • A passion for design and willingness to learn.
  • An awareness of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment methodologies.
  • Good proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe software packages.
  • Experience and understanding of BIM.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including flexible working arrangements, employee networks, and opportunities for career development.
