Construction Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced Construction Lawyer to join our client's in-house legal team in London.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction law, with experience advising on major projects and development work. The role will involve reviewing and negotiating contracts, as well as providing internal risk analysis and legal training to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate tenders, including JCT and bespoke construction contracts.
- Adapt supply chain documents from development agreements or JCT DB/bespoke construction contracts.
- Consultant and subcontractor agreement review and negotiation support.
- Deliver tailored in-house legal training to stakeholders.
- Review and update legal precedents to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Address ad hoc queries, disputes, and legal issues arising in projects.
- Offer guidance on various legal matters to key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- UK-qualified solicitor with a minimum of 1 year PQE.
- Solid experience in construction law, including advising on major projects and development work.
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus.
