A key aspect of this position is providing architectural suggestions and direction to the team and enterprise architecture, while also working with the continuity team to select appropriate technology to ensure all SLAs for recovery are met.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise, including experience with Veeam Backup and Recovery Solution, cloud vendors and technology, and ransomware technology solutions. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Responsibilities:
- Support 24x365 backup operation and management of disaster recovery.
- Responsible for ensuring that we are adhering to backup policies and backup schedule.
- Assist with management of available capacity to ensure no delays are realized due to lack of resources.
- Provide architectural suggestions and direction with the team and enterprise architecture.
- For BCP services, assist continuity team on selecting the proper technology to ensure all SLAs for recovery are met.
