Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Smile Education. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who wish to strengthen their classroom skills while supporting the development of primary pupils with additional learning needs.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or Level 3 TA qualification, prior education/SEN experience, and excellent communication skills. A calm, proactive manner is essential for building strong educator-pupil relationships and establishing routines in the student's academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting a primary student with severe additional learning needs
  2. Collaborating with experienced teachers to develop academic progress
  3. Carrying out 1:1 and group intervention sessions

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
