Haven is seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity across all of our 38 parks and head offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement a secure, reliable, and fast network infrastructure that meets the current needs and is scalable for future requirements.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and guide a team of network engineers to ensure smooth operation and effective resolution of network issues.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts for network hardware, software, and telecommunications services.
- Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems to protect data and systems from external and internal threats.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance, analyzing traffic patterns and bandwidth usage, to identify and resolve bottlenecks or other issues that may impact network efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in network architecture and design, with a strong background in internet-based WAN technologies (e.g. SD WAN).
- Certifications: Appropriate industry certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCIE, ITIL, PMP) beneficial.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and influence with key stakeholders relative to provision of network infrastructure and services, and evolution of network strategy.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing internal teams and 3rd parties to achieve required levels of performance, security, and cost from network services.
