Specialist SEN Teacher

Academics Ltd is seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join our specialist school in Reading. The role involves educating students with varying additional needs, including Autism, dyslexia, speech and language impairments, and physical disabilities. As an SEN Teacher, you will create a positive and engaging learning environment, build students' life skills and independence, and implement lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style. You will also assess individual student progress and help identify areas of improvement.
The school offers a nurturing and supportive environment, with an uplifting community behind it. We are looking for an SEN Teacher who possesses QTS and has experience teaching students with additional needs. Above all else, we are seeking an SEN Teacher with a positive, resilient, and can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students with additional needs.
- Build students' life skills and independence.
- Implement lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style.
- Assess individual student progress and help identify areas of improvement.
Requirements:
- QTS qualification.
- Experience teaching students with additional needs.
- Positive, resilient, and can-do attitude.
Salary:
£30,000 - £43,709 (plus SEN allowance).
