Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sample Collector / Phlebotomist to join our team on an AD HOC/casual basis in the Swansea and surrounding areas. As a key member of our Sample Collections team, you will be responsible for providing a professional hair, blood and DNA sample collection service.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and language skills, with a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance. A minimum of 2 years' experience in phlebotomy is required, with proof of phlebotomy competency may be requested. Experience in collecting hair and DNA samples is also desirable, as in-house training will be provided for this aspect of the role.

As a casual collector, you will work on a per collection basis only, with appropriate travel expenses paid, including fuel, parking fees and sample postage. Assignments will generally be within a 2-hour radius of your home address by car, and you will be working at either a solicitor's office, local authority office or donor's home.
