About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our sites in the BL postcode area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a variety of cleaning tasks, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, and dusting and sanitising surfaces.
  • Operate a range of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and managers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations and report any hazards or incidents.

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Naturally friendly and able to communicate effectively with customers and managers.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work on your own initiative.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
