Digital Strategy Lead - Institutional Expertise

At MemberWise Limited, we are seeking a seasoned Digital Excellence Strategist and Community Leader to join our team. As the Director of Marketing Communications and Policy, you will be responsible for developing our digital strategy, building relationships with other bodies, designing our presence at major expos, working with brand ambassadors, attracting and retaining members, and communicating with a wide range of audiences.

In this role, you will lead a team of 40 professionals dedicated to promoting the profession as an enabler of safe and healthy practices globally. You will work closely with the leadership team to simplify business models, rethink what we offer, and redefine our purpose.

We estimate the salary for this position to be in the range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy to drive membership growth and engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including brand ambassadors and industry partners
  • Design and deliver engaging content to a wide range of audiences, including digital channels and major expos
  • Lead a team of 40 professionals to achieve strategic objectives and promote the profession globally
  • Rethink and redefine our business model to better serve members and drive growth

Requirements:

  • 20+ years of experience in digital marketing and communications, preferably in a professional services or membership organization
  • Proven track record of driving digital growth and engagement through innovative strategies and campaigns
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of 40 professionals
  • Strong understanding of the membership sector and the challenges faced by associations in the digital age
