Addictions Specialist Opportunity

Lanarkshire Community Prescribing Service is seeking a skilled Addictions Specialist to provide support and treatment to individuals presenting with substance use problems within NHS Lanarkshire.

As part of our enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to developing and delivering a comprehensive care service in Addictions, providing skilled assessment, treatment, and care to patients with drug dependency.

About the Role

The post of Addictions Specialist will provide an exciting opportunity for a GP with an interest in substance misuse. We have 8 sessions per week available and will consider various sessional commitments with up to 6 sessions available for any one individual.

Our Team

You will be part of an enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team with a holistic approach to treatment, comprising of Addictions Doctors, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Prescribing Pharmacists, Social Care Workers/Social Workers, Specialist Psychologists, and Specialist Psychiatrists.
