About the Role:

As our Commercial Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice on property acquisitions and disposals, landlord/tenant issues, and general estate matters
  • Leading on estate matters, including managing a team of surveyors and land officers
  • Undertaking inspections of various types of land and property
  • Supporting and managing estate enquiries
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to problem-solve and identify risks and opportunities across the estate
  • Managing and reporting on income and expenditure
  • Supporting the Senior Estates Manager to deliver financial targets and business strategy

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MRICS qualification
  • A demonstratable track record of managing estates or similar to a high standard
  • Experience visiting/inspecting different types of land and property
  • Excellent understanding of Health and Safety regulations
  • People management experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the legal and regulatory requirements relating to the ownership, management, sale, purchase, and leasing of land and property
  • Extensive knowledge of regional property markets
  • A track record of delivering results against challenging financial targets
