DN Colleges Group is seeking a highly skilled Transactional Finance Manager to lead its Finance department during an exciting period of expansion and growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all monetary transactions, including invoicing, sales ledger, credit control, cash and bank transactions, and purchase ledger. They will also lead and coach a team, ensuring the integrity of the General Ledger and associated reconciliations, managing internal controls, process improvements, cash flow forecasting, and driving the month-end close of the ledgers and associated reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Finance team and provide coaching and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial services
- Oversee all monetary transactions, including invoicing, sales ledger, credit control, cash and bank transactions, and purchase ledger
- Ensure the integrity of the General Ledger and associated reconciliations
- Manage internal controls, process improvements, and cash flow forecasting
- Drive the month-end close of the ledgers and associated reporting and analysis
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on finance professional with excellent communication skills, able to develop and maintain solid working relationships with both non-financial academic colleagues and other business service colleagues. They will have a strong understanding of financial processes, excellent IT skills, and experience working within further education.
The successful candidate will hold or be in the process of completing a relevant accounting qualification and have prior experience in managing the sales, purchase, and general ledger processes. They will be self-motivated, analytical, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
