About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at EDF, responsible for overseeing the installation of essential components for nuclear operations. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the scope of work for contracts and develop strategies for programme execution
  • Develop and implement plans aligned with the programme execution plan (PEP), detailing how work will be managed and executed
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring that project strategies are followed and contract activities are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Monitor progress, track milestones, deadlines, and budgets, and provide regular reports to key stakeholders
  • Address and resolve issues within the contract or package, manage risks, update the programme budget, and escalate issues to the Senior Project Manager as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Project Management qualification like APM PMQ and experience in managing engineering and construction projects, especially in regulated environments like Nuclear Energy. You will also need to handle major project elements from start to finish, including engineering design, contract management, and execution.

Experience with multi-discipline EPCM projects, complex contract procurement, and controlling costs and schedules is crucial. Your role will involve managing commercial claims, negotiating with stakeholders, and applying knowledge of CDM Regulations and nuclear quality assurance. Experience with NEC and FIDIC arrangements and knowledge of French are beneficial.
