Care Manager for Residential Childcare Services

Residential Childcare Services in Cardiff are seeking a highly experienced Care Manager to oversee the care planning process of children. As Care Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the team in accordance with supervision policies and being an active member of the management team.
The successful candidate will lead the home through Ofsted Inspections, ensuring that all recommendations from the inspection and/or Regulation 44 visits are implemented. Additional responsibilities include attending supervision sessions and appraisal processes, working in a safe manner, and ensuring the safety of young people and staff at all times.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years' experience in a children's residential setting or in residential services.
- A full, clean UK driving license.
- An enhanced DBS certificate is required upon appointment.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing service offering clear career progression and delivering quality care. You can expect a salary in the range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on your experience.
