VAT and Outsourcing Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled VAT and Outsourcing Manager or Senior Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting firm, you will be responsible for managing client VAT returns, VAT advisory work, and reviewing management accounts. You will also supervise staff and provide training to ensure the highest level of service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client VAT returns and VAT advisory work
- Review management accounts and bookkeeping assignments
- Supervise staff and provide training
- Deal with client queries, technical research, and HMRC queries
- Participate in ad hoc projects and advisory work
Requirements:
- ACA qualification
- At least three years PQE
- Experience with a wide range of software packages, including cloud-based software such as Xero
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
